There are moments when I feel that all which I care about it performing. Performing dancing, speaking and living. With dancing, after spending enough time with it, I do think that I have grown tired with virtuosity, in many ways, and I feel incredibly grateful for this. Yet,
there is a lot for me to learn when it comes to living, without “performi
One question which came up during the critique of this work, is whether or not this website is responsive to visitors, and the related question about reciprocity. I was just in one of ZOOM calls, yet no one joined. I took 3 minutes to talk nonetheless. One thing which I started talking about is the same thing I wrote last week. There is some desire for me to have an audience which I am working through. Or, at least, it feels uncomfortable and childish, and I want this desire in me to change. This website is undoutedly shaped by your presence, as it is affecting my investment in this as a project. But, whether it is responsive to a specific “you,” rather than the idea of/ideal “you” is a seperate question. Also, on the topic of being reciprocal, I did try to create an interaction between you and me, though for most people this may be an interaction between a past me and a present/future you. “Hi there!” I’m trying to think about ways how to make this interaction across time valuable, and present/future me is probably still thinking about this. Also, I think that this a question which is present and needed in this day and age. Questoins about restoration, reparation, resitution, but not by focussing on the “re-” but by focussing on interactions across time. I am linking to this website’s landacknowledgment here.
